Client description
Auchan is a French international retail group, by the end of August 2014 had commercial activity in 888 hypermarkets and 864 supermarkets. In 2014 Auchan had expanded its business by taking over the Polish part of Real hypermarkets.
Founded in 1961 in France, Auchan is present in 15 countries around the world, having branches in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Luxembourg, China, Taiwan, Ukraine and Romania. Auchan SA is owned as well as controlled by the Mulliez family.
The business need
Auchan Poland Sp. z o.o. was looking for a system that would allow them to manage and maintain their properties. The business objective was to have a platform that would enable Auchan to become independent from outsourcing companies providing services to Auchan stores. The company wanted to optimize and standardize the processes inside its organization, to coordinate technical teams and to control external companies. Auchan Poland conducted an analysis of the market which resulted in choosing Singu FM – a facility and property management software created by Velis Real Estate Tech company. Open architecture and flexibility in the choice of functionality Singu FM consists of:
- The mobile app which gives the technical team a possibility to create helpdesk tickets, as well as service and maintenance tickets
- The system architecture allows for quick and simple access to selected system options for external service partners and their customers
- Advanced billing module (SLA module)
- The system of notifications (includes SMS notifications)
- Ability to handle multiple status reports
- Reviews the inventory module which is integrated with the devices
- Automatic creation of reports/inspection reports
- The possibility to optimize the media usage, including cost analysis and anomalies
- Possibility of central and individual (for local users) management of allocations, creating advanced reports
- Managing a wide range of properties (tenant-type stores, stand-alone stores, warehouses, office space)

Auchan Poland decided to implement the following Singu FM modules:

The Singu FM implementation took two months, was held in 57 stores across the country. The entire process was based on constant contact between the client and the Velis team who making a huge effort to provide Auchan Poland support at all stages of the implementation as well as after. A short implementation period added value for Auchan’s customer service.
